Assignment: To select, acquire and develop a site on which to construct and consolidate over a dozen remote customer service facilities into one 92,000 square foot 24x7 center for Carolina Power and Light Company (now Progress Energy).
Lakeview Park
Assignment: Redevelop the under-utilized property of the former Methodist Retirement Home on Erwin Road in Durham, North Carolina, across the street from Duke University and its massive medical center and research campus.
Powerhouse Square
Assignment: Anthony & Co. was asked to review a complex of three old, vacant buildings on three acres of land in downtown Raleigh that Carolina Power & Light (now Progress Energy) declared surplus and wanted to maximize value for their shareholders.
The Brownstones
Assignment: To acquire and complete a failed residential luxury condominium project in West Raleigh, and to sell it profitably.
Oberlin Place
Assignment: Searching for a new headquarters for Anthony & Co in 1994, 616 and 702 Oberlin Road were on the market made empty by First Data Resources. We had to quickly acquire 90,000 square feet of empty office, find tenants fast and redevelop the property.
Valley View Partners
Assignment: Acquire 3.2 acres in Durham for the development of a class A three story, 56,000 square foot office building to be anchored by Soloman Smith Barney in the top floor and the Anthony & Co, Durham office on the ground floor.
Seagate Village
Assignment: The property was formerly part of the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base and was given to the City of Myrtle Beach, which then resold the property to a private investment group. Anthony & Co. was selected by the investment group to develop the property.
